Sony abandons its eBook store

Sony goes on and on in their decision to refocus the company and leaving after announcing its Vaio division , is now the e-book store which stops counting for them.


newsThe Sony Reader Store cast closure from March in the U.S. and Canada. Until then the current users can re-download the books purchased from the Sony store, but from the 20th of this month, will Kobo Store reference readers of the Japanese company.

The accounts associated with Sony reader will be transferred to an account at Kobo, including the catalog and the credit that a user may still have the Sony site. So, when you want to buy or download a book, be direct access to the Kobo bookstore.

For now there’s nothing to stop making eBook readers indicated, but it does not feel that this step back in this business will be alone in this.
