Office for iPad has reached twelve million downloads in just seven days
Office for iPad has certainly been a godsend for users Apple, given that, at least so far, the package has no rival worthy of note: of course, the programs that the bitten apple offers inside are very good, but they have nothing to do with the suite from Microsoft developed and perfected over the years. It is not only our judgment, as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note were able to share touching twelve million downloads in just seven days.
We did not expect anything different, if you consider that the debut of the Microsoft applications had become the most downloaded in the App Store rankings; we now know, via Twitter, that all software is able to exceed ten million downloads: not individually – of course – but cumulatively. Do you think that, more or less, the applications are in the top ten of almost all Apple Sotre, even in Italy, and, at this rate, they will continue to be so at least until everyone will have to complete your package.
Subscriptions to Office 365
It would be interesting to find also the number of the subscriptions to Office 365, license required to be able to not only create but also edit documents open with those programs; shame that Microsoft has not released any information to that effect, nor did Apple, that these subscriptions will derive 30% of total revenues.
