If you’ve been following the news and news about HTC, ye shall have found a Desire 8 of which we have not had much information, it turns out that it has been made official at MWC, with the name of HTC Desire 816.
Within this new mid-range that is emerging after the presentation of Motorola Moto G, we find phones like the LG G2 mini or Xperia M2, with very good detail for the price which is presupposed. HTC’s proposal is somewhat larger in size, but we can present it as one of the competitors in the segment.
LTE Connectivity, BoomSound speakers and 5.5-inch screen in your cover letter For starters, the HTC Desire 816 screen is 5.5 inches, and fortunately has high resolution (1280 × 720 pixels), because with the diagonal, any lower figure would impact too much on the definition.
The other point in favor of the option is the HTC LTE connectivity, although there will be 3G versions for some markets. All this is easy to achieve for manufacturers to opt for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (quad-core, 1.6 GHz) chipset.
With respect to memory, we also like to see that there is 1.5 GB of RAM, which is more than usual for a mid-range terminal. The internal memory is 8GB, but can expand via microSD cards. It also has NFC support, and Bluetooth 4.0.
One of the remarkable heritage that we have the high end is the front speaker system BoomSound. The phone has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs 165 grams. Taking advantage of the dimensions, no wonder we find a set of 2.600mAh.
To end smartphone fundamentals, we have a striking 13 megapixel camera with a lens with maximum aperture f / 2,2 and LED flash. It is at least curious Ultrapixel not see the house system, and bet an amount as high megapixels. It also highlights the front unit is 5 megapixels (f / 2.8) capable of recording video in 720p format.
